And Finally! My Last two Housemates!

Firstly Emily (Thank you Kirst for the picture, in fact most of the pictures!) Em is a Music and Media management student, the same as Kirst, who shares an intense love of baking with me! She's even got me into the great british bake off and I'm very sad that I got into it so near the end! It's usually me Kirst and Em sat in Kirst's room talking about nothing! Only really getting to know her this year as last year she lived on campus, about 30 mins away from us, so far I'm enjoying the weirdness! And last but not least Ellie! Our resident frog! Ellie is also a music and media management student and a fellow welsh person for Kirst to welsh with from time to time (yes it happens and welshing is a thing! Shhh) Ellie lived in Ry and Stephens flat last year, so we already know her pretty well! So far in the 3 weeks we've lived here Tweedle dum and Tweedle dee (Ry and Danny) have messed with her room at least 3 times! I feel so sorry for her! But so far she's stayed calm hopefully they stop soon or I can see her retaliating and that would mean my room getting trashed as well!!

To kick things of Danny...

Danny is a fellow film production student, which for obvious reasons makes him weird as hell (the picture is a great example of this, thats my bag and em's hat...) Danny is new to the blog last year he lived in the flat underneath me and Kirst so far apart from having a very disturbing bromance with Ry living with him has been pretty funny, if not a tad bazaar!

Next up Stephen, once again a fellow film production student (Yes we are all very strange) I've known Stephen for a good 3 years now, I went to collage with him and last year was in Ry's flat, I'm pretty sure he's been mentioned on here before but if not then he's our purple basement dweller, who likes to scare me when I'm alone in the kitchen!!

House mates 1

I know it's 5 days in to october and so far I have one blog post, I'm a terrible, terrible person, so instead of one post about my house mates your going to get three!! It shall be 2 to a post so sit back relax and count how many more posts I have left to do today to make up for my very bad timings :)

I'm going to introduce you firstly to the 2 most regularly featured of my housemates!

Firstly my lovely boyfriend Ryan. Ry is heavily featured on my blog and is in about 70% of all posts so I shan't ramble on about him. This year we're sharing his room which happens to be the attic room, its the newest room of the house and its also HUGE! But despite the size of our room we are usually downstairs hanging out in Kirst's room which just happens to be a single?! the logic behind that is very flawed but no one has questioned it so the weirdness shall continue.


Anyway on with the next introduction of Kirsten (obviously) Once again she is featured very heavily on my blog and I've already talked about her a bit. Of course I'm Living with Kirst! Who else would look after me like a child yet still come to me for help? I need her around just to keep me grounded sometimes. Where theres a Hann there's a Kirst! So this is the first blog post from the new uni year! "What took you so long?" I hear you cry. Well there was nothing really to write about for the first month. I also thought that resuming my posting with a post a day for a month would be interesting. Now I know what your asking "Why are you doing a post a day for a month?!" Well dear reader (do I sound too much like a stuck up writer?) that would be because my housemates and I are doing Go sober for October. If you don't know what this is it's pretty self explanatory, we as a team are going sober for the month of October, not just for our own health but also for a good cause, we will be asking people to sponsor us and any money we raise will be going to Macmillan cancer support.       

This will be my introductory post so I'm going to end it here but tomorrow I will start posting everyday for 31 days and will also introduce you to my housemates!

New blog name?!

Yes I know I've done it again I've gone and forgotten you, but I'm back I promise! And with this new being backedness(?) I have a new blog name as I have come to realise that I am no longer a teenager, it's been this was for roughly 6/7 months now, but I think I've finally come to accept that I am no longer classed as a teenager and I think this realisation may have come the other day when sat on the floor of my mothers hotel room slightly drunk (it was my step brothers wedding)  I turned and looked up at my mum and said this time in a week I'll have my own house?! Yep thats right my own house! Well it's rented and I'll be sharing it with 6 other people but it will be ours and it will be the first of many for all of us!  

Anyway right now after spending way to long away from any of my friends (family?!) and Cheltenham, I'm missing them quite a lot (even those who nominate me to do ice bucket challenges!!) and really cant wait to get into the house and see everyone again! I've got to the point where I'm not excited any more just bored with waiting as I'm sure Ma and Ry are very bored of hearing! 

Next Monday I also get my car back after almost a year (about 2 weeks shy of a year actually) and I really can't wait, although I'm a tad apprehensive as I basically have to relearn to drive! Or at least remember. 

I wont update you about my summer because 1) I can't remember it all and 2) Effort really! I know I'm lazy, I'll start up the blogging again properly when I get all moved in to the house and I'll introduce you all to my lovely housemates (even though some of them are regulars on here)

The above quote is what Megan decided that her goodbye letter to me would start with, I didn't even manage to get a sentence in without tearing up and refusing to read it, well at least until people wern't paying attention to me then I read it on my own and dealt with my emotions quietly, I'm trying to save on the tears, I couldn't deal with crying to much in one night :(

Tonight is a very sad night as it the last we will spend with our wonderful American flatmates, as of now we have less than an hour until they leave for the airport at 5:15am. As its their last night and they're leaving so early flats 4100 and 5300 decided to do an all nighter, one final blow out night to remember and say goodbye properly, I think that the laughter and happiness in the room right now is  a moments notice away from turning in to complete and utter sobbing, no one wants to mention then inevitable incase they set everyone off.

Despite the sadness thats washing over me right now i don't think i'd have it any other way, I'm glad that they decided to come and study abroad and that they chose Cheltenham because I got to meet some of the nicest, funniest and weirdest people, and i don't know what i would have done this semester with out them. 

I'm going to miss you guy's and so is everyone else, we love you <3

So since my last blog post it has been the Easter holidays, I spent 2 weeks with my mama on the canal boat just reading and relaxing, I also steered the boat, I was not fond of this!! As you can see I'm more comfortable being a passenger than the driver! 

The next week I went down to St Ives and was fully expecting to have a lovely week, it started out nice as it was Ryan's mum's birthday so we did some stuff for that over 2 days and then Ryan went and got himself a throat infection meaning i didn't get to do any of the things that Ry had planned and i got to play nurse maid for the rest of the week :( 

We came back to uni about a week ago and at the start of the week it looked like i had nothing to do and by the Monday evening I had a jam packed week that left not time to do anything we had planned once again, so now as well as having to make a film for our sound project I'm also acting in it, great -_-it also has to be re-filmed which should be fun argh.

Also I have a result from the uni about the module I failed and, drum roll please, I passed I don't have to retake it next year which means i don't have to pay like £2000 YAY go me!! 

Anyway now its the weekend and Lowri (Kirsten's friend) is here and we're having a fun day before i have to re-film on Sunday, that's all for this post really i thought it would be more exciting but as it turns out i was wrong oops
